The plans

Free$025none1
Essential$192502503
Pro$491,0001,0005
Business$993,0003,00010

Canadian dollars, before tax, monthly only, no commitment, no annual billing. The free plan has no AI: conversations reach you and you answer them yourself. No overage is ever billed: at the cap, the widget stops opening new conversations until the 1st of the next month.

Online payment is open. Changing plans and cancelling go through contact@echo-group.ca — the dashboard cannot do either yet.

How it is built

ItemValue
Language modelDeepSeek V4 Flash, a single model, called through OpenRouter
SearchCohere embed-multilingual-v3.0 for knowledge-base embeddings
HostingOne VPS at OVH, Beauharnois, Quebec
BackendSelf-hosted Convex over PostgreSQL 16, on that same server
Transactional emailSelf-hosted Mailcow, same server
Widget interface10 languages: fr, en, es, de, pt, ar, zh, hi, ja, ru
WebsiteFrench and English. The French version of legal documents prevails.
BackupsDaily at 03:30, encrypted, kept locally 7 days and off-server

“A single model” is exact: the three entries of what the code calls a fallback chain all point at the same model. They are retries, not alternative providers.

The widget’s interface is translated into ten languages. Nothing constrains the language the assistant answers in — that comes from the model.

Where the data goes

The applications, database and files stay in Beauharnois. The text of conversations handled by the AI is sent to OpenRouter in the United States, and indexed documents go to Cohere. Sensitive information is not masked before that. The full chain is on its own page.

What does not exist yet

Published because you would find out anyway — better here than after you have paid.

  • API access, webhooks, SSO, audit logs, white label, custom CSS and custom domain are off on every plan, the paid ones included. Not “reserved for a higher tier”: not offered to anyone.
  • No new API key can be created, which also means the HTTP export and erasure endpoints are out of reach.
  • Changing plans and cancelling are done by email, not in the dashboard.
  • There is no export or deletion screen: we prepare both on request at vie-privee@echo-group.ca.
  • Automatic purging of expired conversations is written but not switched on in production.
  • No uptime commitment: no status page, and nothing measures availability. Our terms guarantee no absence of interruption.
  • No customers to quote yet, so there are no testimonials and no client logos on this site. They will appear when they are real.
